Accelerating Sustainable Development & Growth through Impact Investments and Partnerships in Africa.
In recent times, impact investors have had to respond proactively to new challenges precipitated by the global pandemic on their investments including defaults on loan repayments, delays on project timelines and exit plans, redefining business models, as well as concerns on sustainability and complying with SFDR regulations.
Having to navigate these new realities in the midst of a global crisis – in food, energy, finance and climate; while grappling to understand the full impact, the progress on the SDGs have not only been halted, but reversed by decades, and global experts agree. In charting a road to recovery, global actors are, once again looking to Africa for growth opportunities, spurring talks on new investments and partnerships.
Now in its 5th year, the Africa Impact Investing Leaders Forum 2022 marks the return of in-person event and is set to be the biggest and best yet. AIILF will bring together impact stakeholders to discuss the trending issues currently shaping the impact space in the aftermath of the global health pandemic, and how that has also impacted both impact investing efforts and delivery of the SDGs.
