Investing to Accelerate Impact in Africa: Progress, Projects & Partnerships
As more corporates are recognising the opportunities in accessing new markets and customers through impact investing, resulting in an increasing entrants of new players into the space, there are greater expectations, more than ever before from institutional investors, HNWIs and asset managers for impact businesses to deliver on their promise of both financial and social or environmental impact.
Now in its 3rd year, the Africa Impact Investing Leaders Forum will bring together a full spectrum of stakeholders in the impact investing arena to discuss how impact could be scaled and managed in various sectors looking at stakeholders’ priorities and issues that will drive growth and achieve sustainable development in the region.
Also, the forum will be the definitive platform and a strategic forum to initiate the next impact deals, access projects information as well as establishing and cementing business partnerships.
I thoroughly enjoyed attending the event. I made contact with some very interesting people and we are currently working together on Africa-focused projects. Very well done!
